Accident insurance

 

Accident insurance - the kind of personal insurance. It is intended to compensate for damage caused by the loss of health or death of the insured.
It can be carried out in a group (for example, insurance company employees) and individual forms, as well as in the form of voluntary and compulsory insurance (eg, passengers, military personnel and other categories of citizens).
Accident insurance is built on the same principles on which a mixed life insurance. The most important of them - limiting the scope of insurance liability stipulated consequences of an accident that occurred to the insured during the insurance period.
The basis of contracts of insurance against accidents account for short-term views. "Insurance accident", that is, an event that takes into account the terms of the agreement.
Insured are the following events taking place during the term of the insurance contract, confirmed by a certificate of health care setting, and provided "Table insurance amount to be paid in connection with the insurance events":

trauma received by the insured as a result of an accident;
accidental acute poisoning with poisonous plants, chemicals (industrial or household), poor quality of food, except poisoning (salmonellosis, dysentery, etc.), medicines;
tick-borne encephalitis (encephalomyelitis) or poliomyelitis;
pathological childbirth or ectopic pregnancy, which led to the removal of organs (uterus, both or single tubes, ovaries);
casual fractures, dislocations of bones, teeth damage, burns, fractures (injured) bodies or their removal as a result of incorrect medical procedures;
the death of the insured during the term of the insurance contract from the reasons listed above, or within one year from the date of the event, accidental inhalation of a foreign body, drowning, anaphylactic shock, hypothermia (excluding deaths from colds).
The contract accident insurance is terminated:
upon the expiration of the insurance on the day preceding that in which the treaty is in force;
in the case of payments by the insurer the full insured amount specified in the insurance policy;
in the case of death of the insured.
